This program assists commercial fishers in The Northern Administrative District.

The Ministry of First Nations and Métis Relations provides small grants to organizations for a variety of First Nations and Métis events, projects and other initiatives.

As of January 2012, First Nations and Métis entities interested in applying for funding to support consultations related to project specific activities on provincial Crown lands where a Treaty or Aboriginal right may be adversely affected, should contact the Lands and Consultation Branch.

The First Nations and Metis Women’s Initiative enables provincial Aboriginal women's organizations to undertake special projects and policy development activities of benefit to their respective memberships

The Northern Affairs Division manages surface leases for mines on Crown land in the Northern Administrative District, with an eye towards maximizing benefits to northerners.

Visit Northern Affairs' on-line Business Service Centre for information on business counselling, financial support, and other tools to help entrepreneurs.

Loans and grants are available to help businesses and development organizations in northern Saskatchewan.

The EQC and NMMS enable northerners to monitor and keep up-to-date on uranium mining activities, as well as provide inputs into company and regulators' decisions about existing operations and new developments.

Treaty Land Entitlement is a process where the federal and provincial governments are fulfilling Treaty commitments of land made to First Nations.
